Hope Street Group State Teacher Fellowship Evaluation: Building Sustainable Impact
Hope Street Group (HSG) launched its first State Teacher Fellows (STF) program in Kentucky in 2013 and since that time has expanded to three additional states, Hawai`i (2014), North Carolina (2015), and Tennessee (2015). This report reviews the data collected during the 2016–17 school year, drawing on data from prior years where prior year data informs the interpretation of this year’s data.

Teaming Up : Educators Enhance Teacher Prep
In 2016, Hope Street Group’s National Teacher Fellows identified local, state and multistate opportunities for enhancing the teacher pipeline according to recommendations in their publication, On Deck: Preparing the Next Generation of Teachers , which revealed their national peer research findings on the topic of teacher preparation.

New Report Proposes Solution To Address Employment Challenges In Manufacturing
The manufacturing sector is a key facet of the U.S. economy, accounting for 8.8% of the country’s total employment and generating 12.5% of the total gross domestic product¹. It is also a strong source of well-paying jobs, with non-college-educated workers making an average of 10.9% more than comparable workers in the rest of the economy1. Yet, the U.S. labor market is changing. The sector is faced with the constant challenge of the upgrading and diversification of necessary skills.
