Joel Osteen comes to mind as an inspirational leader for stakeholders. He uses real life situations to relate his message and inspire others to do better.  

When facing communication challenges I focus on the underlying problem and brainstorm for solutions which can sometimes lead to difficult and necessary conversations.  

Asking for clarity, understanding the relevance and logic all help when using critical thinking. 

In such scenarios, I listen with intent and ask for clarity before formulating a response. 

Being mindful that leadership is not about self but those that you are leading and being the best version of yourself for other although your having a bad day. Treating everyone fairly, being consistent, and not avoiding tough conversations helps develop other leaders.
